Occupational Certification and Licensing

North Pacific Inc. works extensively with Industry Training Organizations to develop and revise standards for trade certifications which must meet the requirements of the BC Industry Training Authority (ITA). We have developed trades standards and provincial assessment questions for several trade apprenticeship programs in B.C. in accordance with the Red Seal Program.
We conduct extensive research and consult with industry stakeholders to develop a program delivery model for a particular trade or industry, including required ITA submissions and associated documents. We develop competency standards for newly-defined trades and consult with stakeholders and subject matter experts to revise and update existing trade competency standards. As a part of the licensing experience, we create and revise examinations and practical assessments, including Tables of Specifications, Level Exams and Certificate of Qualification Exams.
