Who we are Kathryn Barker, Assoicate Kathryn holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University, Montreal and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. Kathryn was a Cooperative Education Coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta. She was responsible for marketing the engineering co-op program to potential employers and participated in the design, development and delivery of a course for first-year engineering co-op students. Kathryn participated in the design and development of an informational Website in the health sector. She was also part of a team that conducted a program evaluation for Vidéotron Ltée. She has also evaluated numerous e-learning courses for government accreditation. She was part of a team that designed and developed a guide to ensure instructionally sound classroom training and created an online instructional design course. Kathryn has developed and designed leader-led classroom training for a major American insurance company. Kathryn’s has considerable experience developing quick reference guides with companies implementing new operating systems. She managed the process of documenting SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to complement the training developed for a major pharmaceutical firm. Kathryn’s recent work has involved developing over 250 quick reference guides for a customer information and billing system for an American utility company.
